Poverty Alleviation through providing financial facilities for helpless women: CRD will co-ordinate with different MFIs to the upliftment of women’s status, especially for helpless widows and deprived women. We will enhance their skills and competences in such fields as, organic vegetable farming, beehive farming, pig farming, goat farming, income generating training and we will assist them marketing techniques to sell their products. CRD will be also concentrated on providing some training on saving and credit management. To reduce poverty from the rural community of Nepal, CRD has formed different 10 groups of women who are now saving daily 1 Re for their secure life. More than 2,00,000 NRs has been mobilized for micro entrepreneurship promotion among women.

CBO Strengthening Program: CBOs (Community Based Organization) are formed thanks to valiant efforts coming from dedicated people in the community. Because in Nepal’s present context, where there is no sustainability coming from the government, even the most dedicated people form the community, do not have the funds to hire professional managers. If any external resources are found or not, it’s up to the community to improve their living status; they are the only ones who can make a difference. So CRD focuses on enhancing any type of CBOs that want to become official and to be responsible for the community and to encourage the participation of the community to take part in more representative roles.

Youth Leadership Development Program : CRD has been conducting various youth leadership training covering the high school students of Kavre, Sindhupalchok, Dolakha and Ramechhap. Through this program Co-operatives Management Training, Skill development Training and Exposure has been conducted.
